Sustainability and social investment senior professional with experience in strategic level initiatives, governance and policy design. He worked as corporate sustainability head at AES Brasil and CPFL Energia, major Brazilian energy utilities and InterCement, a global building materials manufacturer. Previously, he was the Executive-Director of AES Institute and board member of Fundación Loma Negra, in Argentina. Luiz is a PhD candidate in Sustainable Development Policies and Climate Change, University of Lisbon, Portugal. He holds a master in Ecological Economics from the University of Edinburgh (UK), with support from Chevening Scholarship, a BA in Business Management (FGV-EASP) and a BA in International Relations from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
